The bomb blanket is designed for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operators to place over a suspect explosives in order to contain the effects of blast and fragments during battlefield clearance operations. The blanket is manufactured from top-quality aramid bullet-resistant material with a weather-resistant outer cover.

The 152cm x 152cm Bomb Blanket is provided complete with carrying handles and also a carrying bag. In addition to being used as protection during mine clearance operations the equipment can be used for protection against handguns, and also flying fragments from small grenades or mortar rounds during range clearance operations.
